In this workshop, you'll learn about the history of birth in a cultural context and the impact of racism on the birth experience. You'll learn how to create a space of cultural humility with birthing families while discussing the physiological processes of birth and learning practical hands-on strategies and tools to help families have satisfying and empowering birth experiences. We'll also provide and tips & resources to build your business as a birth professional!

... plus 6 months of mentorship to help you on your way. Mentoring includes monthly virtual group co-working sessions to get you moving towards certification faster & direct access to the facilitator for questions and brainstorming.

Tonya Daniel is the owner of Enjoy The Baby, LLC, a perinatal support and education company. She has worked with childbearing families since the early 2000s and uses her education and experience to not only assist birthing families, but also train others to provide culturally humble, evidence-based support. Tonya focuses much of her practice around supporting families of color, particularly African American families. She incorporates her methodologies into her trainings. Her trainings are open to all in hopes to build a sustainable bridge to health equity.
Investment fees must be paid in full before registration is fully confirmed. Participants may hold a slot with partial investment of a non-refundable 50% of full registration. The remaining amount will be drafted automatically on the last day of registration or registration may be canceled. Investments are non-refundable; however, registrations & fees are transferable with prior approval of Enjoy The Baby, LLC.
